it is sort of it, but it has its drawbacks that south american romantics and europeans would reluctate to admit: in the end it leads to more freedom for fewer and fewer players and using players with lower technical skills and more physical just to "combat". No model has only advantages, as a brazilian pessimist and critic, I tend to oppose the "myth" of freedom in south american football, instead one of power and hierarchy (and thus, submission).
